Hello my name is Leslie. I use she/her pronouns. I am Filipino American. At Makita Reiki I offer energy healing and auriculotherapy.
My approach is shaped by a commitment to healing justice and decolonization. I recognize that healing is a collective process that is rooted in our communities, formed by our lived experiences, and deeply impacted by the systems we move through.
Although reiki, aura clearing, and ear seeds are not part of my own cultural heritage, I was attuned and trained through the NYC POC Healing Circle and hold deep respect for their origins.

Reiki Healing
30 min to 1 hour Reiki Healing Session
Usui Reiki Ryoho is an energy healing practice with roots in Buddhism, Shinto, Shugendo, and Daoism. It originated in Japan and works with universal life energy to support healing, balance, and well-being.
Energy healing helps release anxiety, pain, and fatigue by giving you space to connect with your body's ancient/biological capacity for growth and repair. You don't need to be anyone or anything other than yourself to tap into this wisdom.
Ear Seeds
20 min Ear Seeds Session
Ear seeds application is a non-invasive and needle-free form of auriculotherapy intended to stimulate acupressure points. I follow a 5 point Acudetox protocol that helps promote overall wellbeing.
Aura Clearing
10 to 20 min Aura Clearing Session (only as an add-on to reiki or ear seeds)
A healing practice with indigenous Hawaiian roots focused on clearing negative energies.
